6 months

Baby sister. Daffodil. Daphne. I can’t believe she is six months already! She has two bottom teeth that are THIS CLOSE to popping out. She chews on her hands and arms non stop. I can’t get her to chew on teethers. She has the fattest thighs and knees ever. Just rolls and rolls. She is extremely cuddly and attached to Mama. She loves being in the Tula carrier on my chest. Her feelings are very easily hurt by loud noises, especially when she’s sleepy. Dada makes her cry all the time with his loud voice and laughing. She is finally sleeping thru the night, which I was starting to think would never happen. She still cries relentlessly all day long, but it’s maybe getting less? I like to think it might be less. She is usually a perfect angel with everyone else so when I say she cries a lot, everyone is like, What?? This sweet baby cries? Her huge eyes are her most beautiful feature in my opinion. She has the best laugh, and we hear it all the time now. She lights up for Luna, always has a big smile for Dada, but Mama is her favorite. She started rolling from belly to back at seven weeks old (and cries hysterically over it), and FINALLY just rolled from her back to belly this week. She almost always smells like spit up and slobber. She had her first food the other day (prunes) and seemed to like it well enough. She loves sitting bolt upright in the bumbo seat or, preferably, our laps. We think she will be a thumb sucker. She loves kisses more than anything.

Very interested in big sister’s book. She had been crying so Luna decided to comfort her with some light reading. I love seeing them interact like this. It’s really precious.
